We are conveniently located very close to two beautiful churches is picturesque
medieval villages if you are wishing to have your legal wedding ceremony in a local Church.
The Haybarn venue is the perfect place for your reception.
Rushbury - St Peter
The village church is 3 minutes in the car from the Haybarn (1.5 mile)
The church is situated in a small yet beautiful hamlet in Shorpshire. Nestling at the foot of Wenlock edge. This peaceful church has seen little change since the 1200s. Before entering the porch, notice the Saxon herringbone masonry in part of the church wall. Inside, the white walls reflect the light, and a warm welcome is extended to visitors to church and services.
Cardington – St James
Cardington is one of the prettiest villages in Shorpshire over the hill, and only a 3 minute drive from the Haybarn (2 miles).
The drive to the Church and back to the Haybarn will offer some spectacular views of the hills. The eastern side of the nave is 12th century, the chancel and tower are Early English. The porch is dated from 1639 and the great door 1648. There is an unusual carved Jacobean pulpit, a Victorian font, and splayed Norman windows.”
