The Barn
The Haybarn is situated in rural South Shropshire on the outskirts of Church Stretton.
The Venue offers a truly relaxed experience with far reaching views.
The Barn can be hired for a few hours for a workshop, a longer for events & conscious weddings for those seeking a venue for a Handfasting, Celtic / Pagan wedding.
THE BARN
The Barn is situated in the middle of our 10 acre grounds. From inside the Barn, you will see far reaching panoramic views of the hills thanks to the large by-fold doors letting in plenty of natural light. (The barn measures 16×9 meters and has a capacity for 100 guests)
A large 300 year old majestic oak tree offers a shaded space by the barn and a fantastic courtyard for outdoor seating. There is a jumbo ceremonial Fire pit too.
Alongside the Barn is a small river lined with mature trees. Relish the stunning views and many outdoor space available before you make your way into the Barn. The Barn offers a rustic feel, offering something unique and completely different to the offerings of modern hotel function rooms or conventional wedding venues.
Outside the barn is a large grass area available if you wish to also erect tipis or marquees.

if you are booking the Haybarn for a weeding, our Events Team is at hand to help you along the way and help customise every aspect of your wedding and put you in touch with fantastic professional local suppliers or venue dressers.
When you hire our wedding venue you have exclusive use of the facilities and plenty of time to decorate, and prepare the room before your big day. Relax and enjoy the experience to the full.
Be creative
Why not hire an additional tipi or marquee, stretch tent, or giant Yurt on the field next to the Barn if you need more space or wish to offer other areas, or if you wish to create a festival theme.

Our beautiful Oak framed wedding Gazebo is available for you at no extra cost for a ceremony, talk or workshop.
If you prefer to hold your handfasting ceremony by the river and woodland this is available too.
