An exclusive use venue
At The Haybarn you will have complete exclusivity of use the entire site. No other event will take place on the same day.
Hotels venues tend to have other guests staying at the hotel, often have a Gym or spa attracting other people, a very corporate feel and a totally different energy.
We don’t do back to back events.
We can’t wait to hear from you and to show you around and discuss your ideas.
Personal experience / Limited Weddings
When it comes to weddings we only to 5 per year, thus insuring the best personal
experience possible, (Weddings are possible form 1st May ~ 30th Sept).
We get to know each couple, many of which have become friends and
regularly keep in touch with us.
We love how every event & wedding at the Haybarn is totally different to the next.
We would love to hear your plans and what you have in mind.
Customise your Pagan / Festival / Handfasting wedding
This is very much a venue for those who are not afraid of expressing their style and doing it their way.
Totally D.I.Y ! . Customise every aspect of your big day, and let your creative side flow.
You can hire our venue for a weekend long wedding with a marquee, tipi, or stretch tent if you wish.
Choose your tipi / marquee supplier and to suit your style, and budget. (We have good recommendations too)
Rustic Barn
In addition to several beautiful outdoor spaces available to you, our wedding Barn will offer you a perfect indoor space for your event. What’s more you can still also add a tipi on the field if you want too.
There are many possibilities and options. Our venue is all about providing the perfect place for you to relax and enjoy. A wedding should be your most memorable of your life, share the love and joy with your friends and family.
Enjoy an informal event that you create yourself, bring is as much Pagan traditions as you wish or not.. It is up to you.
Sober weddings & Events - Dry bar
We have no alcohol on site, our bar will work with you to offer delicious zero alcohol drink options.
How about a Cacao ceremony too? it is all possible.
Choosing to not serve alcohol is largely a personal choice for all of our couples.
Some couples simply want everyone to remain sober, and that can be even more of a desire if they’re
expecting a lot of children to be at their wedding.
Others choose to not serve alcohol for religious reasons, while some people keep it off of the menu to save money.
Of course, couples might wish to not have alcohol present if they or a loved one are currently in recovery.
There are lots of reasons to consider hosting a dry wedding, and they’re all valid!
A great signature mocktail can be just as much fun. Plus, it’s a way to allocate your budget toward serving an incredible
menu filled with great food and entertainment for your guests to actually remember!
Alcohol brings out emotions and amplifies them, even anger and conflict sometimes.
Not a good mix for a wedding.
Guests will join you on around the fire pit, sing along with he band, or get on the dance floor too.
The best part? Your choice to forgo serving alcohol will be in honor of your personal values and priorities,
which is the entire point of your wedding day after all.
Glamping accommodation available
We offer a range of quirky accommodation on site for your guests such as
Glamping Pods, Bell Tents and “Bring your own” tent pitches.
Depending on your booking this is either included in the price or optional.
Holiday cottage
We have a beautiful and comfortable Bridal Cottage available exclusively for the happy couple.
The cottage is next to the barn and wedding field. It is a fantastic place for the couple to relax, and make last minute preparations on site with Wifi access.
With Weddings, the Bridal Cottage is included in the price.
For corporate retreats, and other events, the cottage can be included as an option (contact us for details)
