An exclusive use wedding venue

. At The Haybarn you will have complete exclusivity of use the entire site. No other weddings will take place on the same day or even the same week, you will not have  random strangers in the background of your photos.  Hotels venues tend to have other guests staying at the hotel, often have a Gym or spa attracting other people. 

Personal experience

At the Haybarn, we limit the number of weddings per year, thus giving you the best personal experience possible, with only 5 outdoor festival weddings in a year, and with the barn we do not operate weddings during winter months. 
We get to know each couple, some of which have even kept in touch with us. We love how every wedding at the Haybarn is totally different to the next.  We would love to hear your plans and what you have in mind. 
What we are not, is a conveyor belt style wedding venue with one wedding after another back to back.  We would love to show you around and discuss your plans.

Customise your festival outdoor wedding

This is very much a venue for those who are not afraid of expressing their style and doing it their way. Totally D.I.Y ! . Customise every aspect of your big day, and let your creative side flow.

You can hire our venue for a long week end for a festival type wedding on a field with a marquee, tipi, or stretch tent. Choose your supplier and your structure to suit your style, and budget.

A rustic barn wedding

If the outdoor festival wedding is not totally your thing, then consider hiring our rustic wedding barn for either a quick elopement weekday wedding, or a week end wedding.
You can optionally add a marquee on the field if you want too.  There are many possibilities and options. Our venue is all about providing the perfect place for relaxed, enjoy, have a lot of fun in what should be your most memorable party of your life. Enjoy a more informal, somewhat less traditional way, that you create yourself.

Decorate & Style

You can decorate your tipi, marquee, or barn as you wish. Style and theme your wedding your way without some of the usual restrictions imposed by many venues. You will have a lot more time to do this with our longer hire periods. Why stress with short hire periods at many venues, At the Haybarn it is all about enjoying each moment more! Eat, Drink & be Married !

You will have complete freedom in specifying the type of food and drink you have for your guests.
Unlike most other venues who impose their limited menus or drinks at high prices. At the Haybarn you commission your own caterer or bar to suit exactly your tastes, theme, and budget. There are countless possibilities.  Also choose your own mobile bar to suit your style.

No corkage fees

We have no charges for any bottles you bring and open  on site.
With no corkage charges whatsoever. What bottles you bring and open yourselves during your party is entirely up to you (D.I.Y drinks). Whatever wine you chose, you will not be paying the hotel & restaurant prices !  We have many contacts for various professional bar services if needed. Do please check beforehand with your caterer first if you have agreed wine and drinks with them, or if you will ask them to serve wine.

Do also check with your mobile bar if you or your guests will be bringing their own drinks too.

Onsite Glamping accommodation options

We offer a range of quirky accommodation on site for your guests to book directly with us from glamping Pods, to Yurts, and also an en-suite guest room with all the facilities you need for an overnight stay. 


Holiday cottage for the happy couple

We have a beautiful and comfortable cottage available exclusively for the happy couple. The cottage is on site next to the barn and adjacent to our wedding field. It is a fantastic place for the couple to relax, and make last minute preparations on site with Wifi access. If you have a marquee wedding, the cottage also provides a safe place for your presents and to store valuable items you may need.

Depending on the type or wedding you have, the holiday cottage may be included in the price.


Camping on site

A separate and dedicated camping area is available for your guests to use. The “camping village” has a great social feel to it where your camping guests will enjoy staying together. The campsite is has well tendered grass, toilets, a shower block, barbeques, seating areas, a fire pit, water and electrics.

Depending on the wedding you have, up to 8 tent pitched may be included in the wedding price.
