The wedding field
The Haybarn wedding field is two acres and is situated next to the Barn.
The grounds are bordered by a beautiful crystal clean brook.
The property extends to 10 acres separated in three main areas.
Each area being enclosed and private. The wedding field which also
houses a separated glamping area is a flat field with beautiful views of the hills.
You will find a large open fire pit by the brook, another large ceremonial fire fit by the barn,
tables and chairs, Chill our areas, Ceremony areas, and Gazebo and decking, electric hook ups, and drinking water.
The gardens
When booking the Haybarn for your big day, you also have the opportunity to use the owners private gardens for a few photos (couples only).
The garden is two acres and features over 35 specimen trees, bursting with colour and with varied interest at different times of the year, and a wild flower meadow.
You will also discover an old tree which has fallen over the brook creating an interesting bridge next to the 300 year old Ash tree and a small wood (the old ash tree which is cut down forms a perfect ceremonial altar and space).
This area will inspire your photographer and is great for welcome drinks, and photo shoots and also a perfect ceremony space for pagan weddings or retreat workshops.
The entrance field / Trees
This is a 6 acre open space which links the main entrance gate by the main road, to the parking areas via a gravel driveway to the barn. The driveway is lined Norwegian Maple trees and Eucaliptus trees. This field offers the possibility for hosting other events, workshops or structures, or additional overflow parking on grass by prior arrangement (and weather permitting). If you take a few minutes to soak up the view, you will see the hills in the background together with the owners 300 year old stone built farmhouse, the cottage, and wedding barn.
We have since planted over 3000 trees in this sections. If you wish to plant a tree to mark your Pagan wedding we can source a beautiful specimen tree for you from a local nursery and give you a space for the tree to thrive and provide joy for the years and generations ahead.
